FRDI forms worldwide links between countries and centers offering therapeutic riding and driving, and assists in the development of programs in new areas of the world. We have members from over 45 different countries around the world.
The primary mission of the FEI is to advance the orderly growth of equestrian sport world-wide by promoting, regulating and administering humane and sportsmanlike international competition in the traditional equestrian discipline.

Para Equestrian Driving is a World Championship Sport. In 1991, the International Paralympic Committee appointed IPEC (the International Paralympic Equestrian Committee) to run competitions and develop equestrian sport all over the world.
Mounted Games is a branch of equestrian sport in which very fast races, exciting for participants and spectators alike, are performed by excellent riders on well-trained ponies.
